Awhile back I shared a pair of TARDIS socks I knit and mentioned how I was also knitting a pair of TARDIS fingerless gloves for a friend. Well, they're done and here they are!

at the beginning of December two friends asked/wished something who-related knitting for christmas.
At the beginning of january I finilly got around to buy the yarn and to start knitting two pairs of wrist warmers with the Seal of Rassilon.

Though I'm not quite done yet. I've accomplished one wristwarmer, and it was most certainly the most complicated pattern thing I've tried yet! I learned a lot about cabling and following a pattern in this one, by golly. ( Tadaaah! )

So, I am working on my second pair while writing down how I did it for the pattern, but when I got to the same point on my crocheted version as on my knitted one that I started last fall, I decided to take a photo of them side by side ( Read more... )

I finally took photos of the finished pair of wrist warmers! I have started a second pair. The new pair will have wider ribbing at the bottom and I think I will do more rows on the thumb part.

I am also writing the pattern :)

Sorry, no photos this time, but I have just finished the 2nd diamond of my crocheted Doomsday Wrist Warmers, Left mitt. The one that I posted in my last update was the right one.

Will post photos of both finished later :D

Well, I have the first of my crocheted version of the Wrist Warmers done and I think that I am pretty happy with it. It used one whole ball of Patons Grace cotton yarn (1 3/4 oz), the only thing is that I think that maybe the cotton is too stiff right now, but it might soften with washing.
